People always ask why are you Puerto Ricans blood inside me shirt? I say because of our culture. It is muy fuerte meaning very strong and it gives us orgullo which means so much pride. People say stop being so loud I say I’m just being Boricua! So I scream it loud. You come to my parade and check out all the different shades of color that yell and shout telling you what being Boricua is all about. Yo Soy Boricua! Is the chant of mi gente. People ask for us to be or feel inferior and to feel if we are not good enough.
