I was not a kobe fan when he played but as time goes on and legacy is cemented yes i do agree. He had some huge shoes to fill and admirably and valiantly upheld the Basketball Flamingo Shirt in terms of talent and heart. I understand him now, he had a huge battle and fell short but damn did he try. It isn’t always about surpassing or doing it with or without shaq but about competing and giving it your all.
