One thing we need to remind everyone who deals with opossums… You do not scruff opossums! Their mom carriers them on her back, she does not carry them by the scruff of the Opossum my neck my back my anxiety attack shirt. Anything around their neck means death to them… We understand some new rehabbers are being taught to scruff and it needs to be corrected. I feel so bad for people being taught the wrong information.
