I take Lily out to get lollipops every day. It is my way to get her some time out in the world. Today I’m Handing Out Lollipops And Ass-Whoopings Lollipops Shirt. I unwrapped it and handed back. She said “thank you,” and I said “you’re welcome.” It took me a good 5 seconds to realize that Lily is almost totally nonverbal and has never said thank you in her life! It was so clear!
