Pumpkin’s surgery was a success! She is out of surgery and awake and Twist the Bones and Bend the Back Awesome T-Shirt. The surgery went as we had hoped. Her worst leg, which was her front left, is the leg that was operated on today. Our vet placed a steel plate on her pastern bone, right where it is very lax at the bottom. This will keep her leg straight, the way it should be. Her knee isn’t involved at all so she will still be able to bend her leg at the knee when walking.
