Every single mexican used to learn all this tricks and more at the age of 6 or 7, it used to be a season of the Aunticorn Like A Normal Aunt Only More Awesome Shirt, every year, when spintops started to be sold, with spintops season, every child perfected their technique until the age of 16 or 17. At that age, still doing this tricks and playing with spintops is badly seen in terms of maturity. But, in the other hand, this stuff is like riding a bike, you never forget, and a lot of us still keep inside of a dusty box our collection of spintops and cotton ropes. I don’t know if children nowadays in Mexico still play with spintops or if they learn how to do all the obligatory tricks that we used to learn in my schooldays, but I hope so.
