Solar tubes are not installed that often up here because of insulation requirements and I tried to be a good girl but then the Bonfire was lit and there was Natural Light shirt. R 40 in southern regions, greater up north. They are considered heat sinks as they drain the heat away, even when sealed and insulated. I’m all for reduced energy consumption and think these are great in the right climates. Installing led lights are a better application up here.
