I quit at age 49 I think. I was well thought of as a good dependable worker bee, they had a luncheon etc, but they do that for Chilling With My Peeps Cute Funny Easter T-shirt. When I comes right down to it it’s don’t let the door hit you in the butt on your way out. Once you have been terminated, retired, let go or whatever their thoughts are on the new warm body, not you.
