I was in my late 30s when I started med school. So there are scars. But not the same for me as if I had been in my 20s. I’d been around the I Don’t Always Enjoy Being An Asshole Shirt, so I wasn’t as easy a target. But I got a reputation for not staying in my lane and standing up when others got shit on. So soon it didn’t generally happen in my presence. At least not as bad. But it still did. Rage. It’s what’s for breakfast! But that too takes it’s toll.
