This classic photo of the legendary Belizean Jockey called “Stama” came through the Horse racing talk derby to me shirtof Belizean athlete Evondale Coburn. It really brings back classic Belizean horse racing of the 1970s. The horse Sir Jude that Stama rides here was my most favorite Belizean racehorse. Sir Jude had power. A black male horse of incredible speed and tenacity, it won many crowns and championship in its time.
