Now I know why i’m drinking Blue Moons and feeling like Cool Beagle America 4th July Independence Day T-shirt barking the blues at the greater universe ( but managing to write two dissertations to the NYC Building Department). I’m not even a Blue Moon drinker… My first dog ever was a mutant beagle. I was 5 when my father bought me Skippy from a pet shop on Broadway on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. It was 1963. Skippy was a mere pup, with papers, but grew to be a huge beagle.
