Thinking of my many blessings of being born in a big family and those negative ones that you’re faced with as you age. Having seven sisters and Official Black girl magic I sprinkle that on everything shirt the benefits of sacrificing, going without or just not having. I don’t know if I have told this but when Iwas youngster I wanted a pair of black patent leather shoes. I was in the fourth grade for that was the year my grandma died and I wore them to her funeral. I loved those shoes and took very good care of them. I refuse to accept the fact as I grew my feet grew and I no longer could wear those black patent leathers. I put Vaseline on my feet to squeeze them into those shoes but dang it hurt!! Mama felt that I needed a more sturdier kind of shoe so it was black and white saddle oxfords and boy I despised them but I had no choice.
